Lionel Messi has not been seen on the field since Barcelona’s 2-1 victory over Las Palmas at the end of September after suffering a torn ligament in his left knee.

With the first Clasico of the season set to kick off on Saturday evening, the fitness of the Argentina international is a hot topic.
And the signs are promising (for Barca supporters).
At the beginning of the week, Messi returned to full training and reports claimed the club's no.10 could be named as a substitute for the visit to the Santiago Bernabeu.
What's more, a major hint came from Adidas when the German-based sports brand unveiled a new set of football boots for their client, which look set to make their competitive debut in El Clasico.
Barcelona, however, have remained tight-lipped on a potential return to action for the 28-year-old, suggesting that supporters may have to wait until the team sheets are announced to discover his fate.
