Fenerbahce have told talkSPORT they want to keep striker Robin Van Persie.

The Dutch striker has struggled for form and goals since his arrival in Istanbul from Manchester United last summer and has been linked with a move back to Holland with former club Feyenoord.
However the Turkish giants have told talkSPORT they have no intention of parting with the 32-year-old striker amid reports they could replace Vhim with Brazilian World Cup flop Fred.
The club said: “There have been some falsified news about Van Persie leaving which aims to demotivate the player, we have no intention to sell and the player has no thoughts to leave.
"Van Persie is very precious and he will keep serving our team."
Fenebahce signed Van Perise for £4m last summer on a three-year-deal earning around £240,000 per week.
