Maya Yoshida believes "really great things" lie ahead at Southampton if they can head off interest in manager Ronald Koeman and their star players.

Saints have been in the ascendancy since securing promotion from League One in 2011, with last season's seventh-place finish the club's best-ever Premier League campaign.
That success saw the vultures once again swoop on St Mary's, yet Koeman's men appear to still be on track judging by the fact they sit eighth in the standings.
Reports suggest Sadio Mane, Victor Wanyama and Graziano Pelle could be the next batch to exit, while former Barcelona defender Koeman is understandably attracting interest - key figures that Yoshida believes can help Saints scale even greater heights.
"It's not easy to lose two or three of your best players every season and stay at the same, high level," Yoshida told www.fifa.com.
"But although Southampton is not a huge club, it is run very well and the academy system is fantastic.
"That gives us a big foundation to build on. If we can keep the manager and maybe hold on to our best players going forward, I think we can do some really great things."
