The draw for the semi-finals of the League Cup has been made. 

Liverpool, Man City, Everton and Stoke were the four teams in the pot after beating Southampton, Hull, Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday respectively. 

The Reds, who will make a record 16th appearance in the last four, face the Potters, who have not reached this stage since winning the competition in 1972.

Liverpool's city rivals Everton, who have never won the League Cup, face 2014 winners Manchester City in the other semi-final.

The draw is:

Everton vs Manchester City
Stoke City vs Liverpool

The first legs will be played in the week commencing January 4, 2016, with the second legs taking place in the week commencing January 25.
